Puppy Sale Contract and Health Guarantee
Buyer agrees to the following conditions of sale:
Long View Family Pets offers a two (2) year health guarantee on congenital defects.Defects that can be attributable to other than congenital causes are not covered.This guarantee covers Progressive Retinal Degeneration and Hip Dysplasia that would cause a painful life, or death. In the event of such a problem, I must receive proof from CERF and preliminary OFA that there is indeed a genetic problem and not the result of diet or environment. If the case is not life threatening the puppy may be kept as a pet with proof of a spay or neuter certificate, and registration papers must be signed over to Long View Family Pets, and we will refund one half of the purchase price. If your puppy dies , your veterinarian must send our veterinarian a necropsy report stating that it died as a result of a congenital defect only, nothing caused by the buyer, deliberate or accidental. In such a case Long View Family Pets will provide buyer with a replacement puppy of the same value,all registration papers from the first puppy must be returned. No monies will be exchanged. If the new puppy needs to be shipped, buyer is responsible for shipping charges. Buyer understands this guarantee is offered to the original purchaser only, if a sale or transfer of this dog becomes apparent this guarantee is null and void.Buyer agrees to complete any necessary vaccinations on schedule, and read care instructions . Purchase time is when puppy is sent to you, the purchaser.
You will receive a heath certificate , a health record, and a puppy care packet. The health record contains everything we have done with that puppy,i.e. all vaccines, tails docked etc.
We keep our puppies on a strict vaccination and parasite control regimen. All puppies will be vet checked .We strive
to sell ONLY healthy puppies.
The seller guarantees the puppy against fatal viruses for 72 hours from the time puppy leaves us. These include distemper, parvo, hepatitis, canine influenza, leptospiriosis and corona. It does not include coccidia , kennel cough, giarrdia , parasites, or any other type of bacterial infection .In the event your puppy should contract any fatal virus
within the 72 hours, you must notify us immediately, and your vet must send all reports to our vet.
There is no guarantee of the ability to breed, show quality, size, coat quality, or adaptability. We encourage you to spay or neuter your pet. If you are unable to continue to give the love and care that your puppy (dog) needs, we will accept them back at purchasers expense. We will help you find a suitable home for them also.
Buyer is responsible for all vet bills after purchase of puppy. Any veterinarian's diagnosis of a congenital condition
shall be subject to confirmation by a veterinarian chosen by the seller. Should this veterinarian not concur with the diagnosis, the matter shall be presented to a third veterinarian mutually agreed upon by the seller and buyer. Buyer agrees to pay all court cost and attorney fee if requested by the seller. The seller can only be sued in Wright County in the State of Missouri.
